NAOMI FORRESTER
Winter Haven, FL
Naomi Forrester is first and foremost a daughter of YHWH, Adonai Elohim. Everything that follows exists because of His mercy, love, and relentless pursuit of her. Naomi’s story began with the fact that God placed her inside the womb of a powerfully praying mother. The firstborn of six children, she was raised by both her mother and father. She comes from a long generation of strong, faith-filled Jamaican believers, women and men who knew how to press forward in prayer and faith to amazing breakthroughs. Her mother raised the family under what Naomi lovingly calls her Pentecostal-Baptist watch. Church was not an option; six days a week, they were there.
When Naomi was saved at 13 years old, God began giving her dreams and visions. Unfortunately, the appeal of the world came to distract, tempt, beguile, and set a trap for her. For a season, Naomi stepped outside of God’s will. She became a single mother at age 18 and later had three more children. For 20 years she endured domestic abuse. And sadly, for much of that time, she could not see what the enemy already knew—God had an extraordinary plan for her life.
The Lord did not forget Naomi during her chaotic life. He stepped in rescued her and her children, giving them a brand-new life. Today, her three daughters and son are successfully thriving and loving God. Not one thing the enemy meant for Naomi and her children’s destruction was wasted. God took every wound and turned it into a seed—seeds of hope, strength, and deliverance, which today Naomi sows into the lives of other women.
Naomi has served in her church, leading in the single mother’s ministry, freedom ministry, youth ministry, and financial peace ministry. She also has served her community as a steward to the homeless and as a strategic planner for events that brings people together. Throughout her career as a corporate trainer and creative designer, God showed her that her every skill, every gift, and every experience had always belonged to Him, held in His hands, and was waiting for the right moment to release them through her life to touch others.
In 2016, Naomi prayed one prayer: “Help me see people the way You see them.” God answered and hasn’t stopped answering ever since. That prayer is the heartbeat of everything Naomi does. God has woven together a mantle in her life, threaded with redemption, creativity, teaching, shepherding, and mercy. It is a mantle that Naomi carries for the women the Lord places on her path. Her greatest joy is helping a woman to see herself the way God sees her; it is not through the lens of her past, her pain, or her failures, but through the eyes of the One Who created her, called her, and has never once let her go. Naomi is a woman who has found her way back to the Lord, discovered her gifts, and has personally experienced that God can still use her despite the years she had wandered from Him.
Naomi resides in Winter Haven, FL, and is the President of the iWOWi Priscilla Mantle in Winter Haven, FL.
